This was the first Audio Book that I bought on Audible back in April 2012! Wow already been a member for 5 years! I have the entire series and I do have the entire series! I highly recommend this series. It is not all blood and guts. The story line that Jeanne C. Stein has developed with the Anna Strong character and her friends.

Anna Strong is a bail bonds person. She was once a teacher that wanted more to life. So with her partner a former NFL player. They bring their man or woman anyway they can. Anna however, meets her match one night and gets attacked by the man she was racing after. Little did she know that he was a vampire. So "The Becoming" was a huge hit with me. I have a friend that could not wait until I finished the book to start the next one.

Dina Pearlman is one of my favorite narrators. I so enjoyed her narration of the series along with a few other books in my Audible Library. She hits the mark for every book she narrates! She brings the characters and stories to life! To date she has 219 books on Audible that she has brought to life. Check out her list of books on Audible.

What did you love best about The Becoming?
It grabs you from the first paragraph read! You can envision the characters that are in that hot pursuit!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Becoming?
When Anna realizes she is not your typical vampire!

Have you listened to any of Dina Pearlman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No I have not - but I certainly look forward to listening to other books she has preformed!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I found myself so caught up in the story could not wait to listen to the next and the next!

Any additional comments?
This is certainly not your typical vampire book of blood and gore - even though there is. But, there seems to be a somewhat auroa that surrounds this series! A must listen to! Dian Pearlman is an excellent narrator bring Jeanne Stein's characters to life!
